Athlete Safety & Protection

MVP Dolphins is committed to providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all swimmers. While our summer league is not formally governed by USA Swimming Safe Sport, we voluntarily follow best practices in athlete protection.

All MVP coaches, board members, and officials are required to complete athlete protection training and adhere to our conduct standards.

We expect all adults working with our athletes to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, use respectful language, and avoid isolated one-on-one situations. Interactions should be observable and focused on the safety and development of our swimmers.

We encourage families to communicate with the Board if they observe any concerning or suspicious behavior or if a swimmer expresses discomfort. Reports will be handled promptly and without retaliation.

Our shared responsibility is to create an environment where every swimmer feels safe, supported, and empowered.
