Volunteer & Family Commitment
The MVP Dolphins is a 100% volunteer-supported, parent-run swim team. Our meets, practices, and events depend on the active participation of our families. Volunteering is a shared responsibility and an essential part of being an MVP family.
Every family plays a role in helping our swimmers succeed—both in and out of the pool.
Family Volunteer Expectations
Each family is expected to:
Volunteer for at least two (2) meets or team events each season
Please note that while we are always grateful for donations for team parties and events, contributions of food or supplies do not count toward the two-event volunteer commitment. Our meets and events rely on hands-on help from families to run successfully — thank you for being part of what makes our team so special!
Arrive on time and complete assigned shifts
Honor commitments once signed up
Support team events such as pizza parties and the end-of-season banquet
Families who do not meet volunteer requirements may be subject to waitlisting in future seasons.
These expectations ensure fairness, reliability, and a positive team experience.
