Head Coach:

Mark Lewis: Mark is a DC native with over 30 years’ experience coaching athletes at all levels of club, interscholastic, and summer league swimming in the Potomac Valley.  He was a competitive swimmer under St. Albans legendary Coach Oliver “Skip” Grant.  A graduate of Columbia University (1986), he holds a B.A. in English. Coach Lewis, himself, is a PMSL Alum, having swum for the TPDC team from 1970-1981. During that time he was coached by ASCA Level 5 Coaches E Jane Stafford and John Flanagan. Coach Mark has synthesized the detailed technical instruction, the discipline work ethic, and the joy of competition that he experienced in his youth into a team philosophy: "Fun in Pursuit of Excellence."
